War man selbst Musiker , mischte man auf sogenannten "Mixtapes" dabei seine eigenen Songs mit seinen Lieblingsliedern anderer Künstler. Und genau das werde ich am nächsten Donnerstag auch machen, nur eben in Live-Form. Ich habe innerhalb der letzten 4 Wochen 11 Songs von mir selbst und Künstlern wie Bowie, Kiss und The Police zusammen mit Drummer extraordinaire Markus "Schmidty" Schmidt neu eingespielt und möchte Euch das Resultat gerne vorstellen. Ich werde dabei das entstandene Mixtape abwechselnd an Piano und Gitarre begleiten und dazu singen und ich hoffe, ihr singt dabei mit.
Eröffnet wird der Konzert-Abend von Nadine Khouri aus London mit melodramatischen Pop-Songs dann, ab ca. 22:00 spiele ich und ab 23:00 Uhr Meanwhiles aus New York mit traurig explosivem Songwriter-Rock. Es gibt also gleich 3 Gründe zu kommen. Ich freu mich auf Euch.

During the last 4 weeks I rerecorded 11 songs of mine and of other artists like Bowie, Kiss and The Police together with drummer extraordinaire Markus "Schmidty" Schmidt. The resulting mixtape I would like to play to you all, accompanying the tracks on piano and guitar and singing to it, along with you.
The concert-evening will start with Nadine Khouri from London doing her melodramatic pop songs, me playing second from 22:00 on and then at 23:00 Uhr Meanwhiles from New York with sad explosive Songwriter-Rock. So that is makes 3 good reasons to come. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
Doreen & Maik Wolter are the hosts of this first Bluebird Café Berlin - House Concert. The featured artists are both from the well known Hagelberger Street Community from the 70´s. Wolter zur zweiten Runde in ihr heimisches Konzertzimmer ein. Das
Programm wird diesmal von ihnen selbst gestaltet. Es gibt also Folk,
Country und Eigenes von Jamestown Ferry. Wie auch schon beim letzten
Mal, wird das Konzert live ins Internet übertragen.
